Ivan Anhe Productions is a Washington, DC-based full-service video production company which manages projects from the concept to completion. Launched to bring a new, more cinematic video style to the DC area, Ivan Anhe Productions is disrupting video norms by offering a creative option that does more than “check the boxes”. When clients come to us, they know they are investing in a work of art that they will be proud to showcase for well into the future.

Iván Anastacio is a talented Mexican filmmaker based in the Washington, D.C. area and the founder of Ivan Anhe Productions. He serves as the principal cinematographer and video editor. Iván is a licensed commercial drone pilot, allowing for new possibilities in clients’ scope of work. He brings a unique cinematic style to the DC area, pushing the envelope on creativity and challenging video content norms. He believes that no two videos are the same, and spends time understanding each client’s unique story, style, and vision for their project to ensure that it stands out and successfully achieves its goal. His strong storytelling capabilities, coupled with the high-quality aesthetic of his films, are something that sets his work apart.
With over 10 years in the video marketing and filmmaking industry, Iván has worked with diverse clients to promote their brand or message via the production of corporate videos, commercials, short films, and more. He has expertise in multiple editing platforms, including Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Davinci Resolve, and Adobe Audition. A musician himself, he is skilled in selecting music for each project and implements a strategic sound design that supports the narrative and viewing experience.
A self-taught filmmaker, Iván’s degree in engineering allows him to bring a process and design-oriented mindset to each project. Iván has a certificate in animation and speaks English, Spanish, and Japanese. Due to his deep study of cinema productions, Iván’s unique and creative filmmaking style has caused clients to return to him time and time again for new projects.

Cayla Hantzsch serves as the project manager and production assistant at Ivan Anhe Productions. Working closely with clients from their first inquiry through until project completion, she values her client relationships above all else and is dedicated to supporting them throughout the creative process. A strong believer in pre-production preparation, Cayla assists clients with selecting locations, preparing for interviews, developing text content, and solidifying the project goal. She also supports the editing process, ensuring that each project has a second critical eye prior to completion. Cayla also frequently serves as your director or interviewer on production day. She contributes design and writing skills to clients’ projects and is a talented storyteller with experience developing scripts and creating narratives from interview-content, weaving compelling stories when clients themselves struggle to find the storyline in their work. She believes that every narrative video should evoke an emotion that causes action - whether that be admiration, heartbreak, excitement, trust, sorrow, or surprise. Her experience working with individuals from around the world allows her to relate to diverse clients and client projects, helping to ensure that each video achieves its intended impact.
Cayla has a B.A. in International Studies and Spanish with certificates in Business and Leadership, and an M.A. in International Education from George Washington University.
